How do you learn french for an oral exam?

February 5, 2008 by admin

I’ve got a french speaking exam in about three weeks and I need some tips on how to learn a presentation and the answers to 30 questions in french. I think my teacher made us start learning a little too late. Any ideas on how to learn it quicker??

My advice would be to try and learn one answer at a time. Try reading it, then writing it a few times, once you have done that turn the paper over and try and speak it. Just keep doing that till you know it all. It’s hard i know. I hated French speaking at school.

Hope that helps.

Sit there and read your presentation until you know it off by heart. That’s what I did and I got an A*.

well look on the bright side – you get to learn your answers. in my school we have unknown questions and have to make it up on the spot. my best advice would be to try and make it sound conversational, so that way if you forget something you can improvise. have a general idea of what to say for each question, along with key phrases and words, but avoid reeling off prepared answers.
    good luck!
