    «Ça va?» as a …
    «Ça va?» as a question (raise your voice at the end to indicate that you are asking a question) means, “Are things going well?” or, “How are things?”

    «Ça va» or «ça va bien» can be responses to this question, meaning “Yes, things ARE going well.”
